Mr KC Chai joined PCI as Chief Financial Officer after PCI was acquired by Platinum Equity in May 2019. Prior to joining PCI, KC was the Chief Financial Officer of Beyonics/Chosen, which were formerly SGX-listed group of companies which were privatised after acquisition by private equity. Previously, KC had worked with Motorola, Vishay and Lear Corporation. During his tenure with Motorola, Mr Chai had taken various key assignments in Asia, including setting up Motorola's 1st semiconductor joint venture and finance shared services centre in China; and managed and supported the finance operations of Motorola’s Taiwan distribution operations. After leaving Motorola, KC spent the next 11 years with Vishay and Lear Asia Pacific Office based in China supporting the business operations and post mergers and acquisitions integration activities. KC is a qualified Chartered Accountant under the Malaysia Institute of Accountants. KC holds a Bachelor of Accounting (Honours) from the University of Malaya, Malaysia and a Master of Business Administration (Finance & Accounting) from the University of Northern Territory (Australia).
