Single Board Computer (SBC)

Customized product designs and faster time-to-market

The increase of Internet of Things (IoT) technology adoption and the challenge of improving product time-to-market has prompted an adaptation of product design incorporating Single Board Computer (SBC). There are many off-the-shelf SBCs available in the market, but they are generic and lack customization support.

We have developed SBC platforms based on NXP System on Chip (SoC) such as i.MX8 and i.MX6 which runs on Linux or Android. These can be used to develop the product software, and in parallel, customized and cost-effective hardware for the product in term of form, fit and function.

More than just hardware, device drivers and OS customization

Our capability in the development of SBC hardware, device drivers, and Operating System (OS) customization for the commercial, transportation and industrial sectors enables us to provide our partners with the expertise and specialization required in their product design. The SoC is from NXP i.MX8 series and MediaTek, which run on Linux and Android (GMS certified).

Guaranteed to last for more than seven years, these SBC SoCs range from full-feature products used in commercial activities to high reliability and quality products used in industrial and transportation sectors.

We provide hardware customization to meet product needs that bring cost-savings for our partners, supporting our partners for the long haul whether it’s OS upgrade or new device drivers.

What we do

Our expertise in SBC development includes digital core, wireless and wired connectivity, interfaces to input/output devices, and operating systems (OS). We focus on developing the application software, and PCI, with its vast experience, delivering the hardware, low-level drivers, and OS.
